During a family visit to the local animal park, Maui follows a
strange animal off the beaten path. He trips, blacks out, and
wakes up in a version of the park that feels… different. Nature
has taken over. With no one around and no way out, Maui does
what he’s always done—he explores.
Behind the Character
Maui’s character was inspired by real-life youth conservationist Jeremiah Jose, a student advocate.
