NAPWC
Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center
The Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center (NAPWC), located in the heart of Quezon City, plays an important role in the rescue and rehabilitation of wildlife in the Philippines. Managed by the Biodiversity Management Bureau (BMB), the park is home to numerous endangered species and also serves as a place for environmental education and research. With its wide variety of native flora and fauna, it provides an essential sanctuary for animals in need while offering the public the chance to learn more about conservation.

AVILON
Wildlife conservation foundation
Avilon Zoo is the largest zoological institution in the Philippines, home to over 3,000 exotic animal species. Just like how Maui meets and helps the animals in UWAK, Avilon Zoo offers a space for people to meet real-life versions of characters like Dujat, Kali, or Tana. Their work in rescue, rehabilitation, and captive breeding mirrors the mission of the game—restoring what’s been lost and learning to coexist with nature. Whether you’re helping animals in the game or getting to know them in person, the goal is the same: understanding and protecting our wildlife.

HARIBON
Haribon Foundation
Haribon, is one of the oldest and most respected environmental organizations in the Philippines. Named after the Haring Ibon or Philippine Eagle, Haribon has been at the forefront of biodiversity conservation, reforestation, and environmental education since 1972.
Like Maui’s journey in UWAK, Haribon believes that every Filipino, especially the youth, has a role in protecting our natural heritage. Through science-based programs like rainforestation, wildlife research, and citizen involvement, the organization empowers communities to take action in preserving both land and species. Their efforts help protect endangered animals—just like Tana in the game—by restoring their homes and advocating for long-term conservation solutions.
