What is UWAK?

U.W.A.K or the Ultimate Wildlife Assembly Kampaign. This project is to address the knowledge gap in wildlife conservation among young and young adults by capturing a story-telling rich game to engage with the audiences.

MISSION

As a group of Multimedia Art students from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, our team aims to shine a light on the endangered endemic wildlife of the Philippines and the efforts that have been made in doing so through the use of new media.

VISION

Emphasize the importance of Wildlife Conservation Organizations and their efforts. Provide an educational tool that summarizes complex information regarding wildlife rescue centers. Show ways that young adults can be more proactive toward conserving the Philippines’ endemic wildlife.

Meet the Characters

Meet the main character & the residents!

MAUI | MAIN PROTAGONIST

It was a weekend and his parents brought him to the park. He’s a very curious kid and likes to explore and observe lots of things. He got separated from his parents due to a certain special looking animal caught his eye and followed it further down to the park. He trips over something or lost consciousness for awhile and found himself in the same park….?

TANA | RESIDENT

Tana is a wise Philippine Eagle who grew alongside Alino. She is wise with her words and always makes sure to see the bigger picture. She helps Maui get home.

ALINO | RESIDENT

A resident of the old forest before it came into ruins. He wishes for the help of the player to help the animals.

DUJAT | RESIDENT

A born fighter at heart, Dujat is said to have a heart of stone, especially when it comes to protecting their family and home. When it presents her hard and territorial nature, do not let it hinder you from helping. She can be stubborn, but with a little bit of help (and maybe a lot of yummy fruit),

KALI | RESIDENT

A hard-headed reptile that always looks after his buddies. After what happened to the park, he has grown to not trust any humans and scares them away from his swamp and his buddies. That is until he meets a special human who agrees to help them in rebuilding the old forest for his younger buddies.

Remember,

Every Animal has their own story.
